FAQs

Every vehicle’s requirements are entirely different. Logbook services are necessary to keep you car’s warranty in tact, this is because a logbook service follows the manufacturer’s guidelines exactly. If your car is no longer under warranty, a general service is definitely the correct decision. A general service can save you a lot of unnecessary repairs, as the vehicle goes through a thorough inspection we can inform you of necessary repairs and can then advise you on priority of repairs (what can wait, and what needs to be done right away).

Yes, your warranty will still be valid if you service your vehicle with us. In order for your vehicle’s warranty to be valid, services need to be carried out exactly as the logbook or dealer guidelines specify. Without this we are legally not able to stamp your logbook. Every logbook service will be different according to the kilometres, age and make of the vehicle; because of this, prices of logbook services vary much more than general services.

As a general rule, it’s advised to service your car every 6 months. For newer cars (first 10,000kms/5years) it’s important to reference your owner’s manual as there may be different requirements for logbook services. For older cars it is also important that within those 6 months you check your fluid levels to catch any abnormalities before they become bigger issues

Maintaining a trusting relationship with our customers is very important to us. By having an open line of communication with you we ensure that there will not be any nasty surprises. We will not do any work without your approval. To be as efficient as possible we will drain oils and change oil filters based on what the vehicle has been booked in for. However we will not do any additional repairs or add any extra costs without your approval.

We do not fit customer sourced parts. There are many reason why.
Quality and Compatibility: We can’t always guarantee the quality or fitment of parts that are brought in from outside sources. We only use parts we trust and know will be compatible with your vehicle, ensuring that the job is done right and the parts will perform as expected.
Warranty: We offer warranties on both parts and labor, but if a customer-supplied part fails, we do not offer warranty for this.
Faulty Parts: Some part may have damage that is only evident once installed causing us to redo the job - this will be reflected in double labour costs
